Who? If you’re serving as a part of a church plant or existing church in Vermont or accross New England, or even prayerfully considering doing so, you've probably encountered a few challenges along the way. Many of us feel isolated and underequipped -at Vermont Church Planting we want to change that. Our annual Equip Retreat is designed as an experience for you to . . .
*Expand your vision of what God can accomplish through you.
*Provide handles to help you grow in leadership effectiveness.
* Develop a sense of community with like-minded church planters.
* Be encouraged and refeshed through worship and fellowship.

When? February 23-24, 2018. The retreat begins Friday., 6:00 p.m., and concludes at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. It includes three interactive sessions that include worship music, Q&A, breakout sessions and prayer.

Friday, February 23
5:00-7:00 p.m. - Arrive, Register, & Hangout
7:00-8:30 p.m. - Session 1: The Shepherd's Responsibility.
8:30-9:00 p.m. - Session 1: Q&A.
Saturday, Februay 24
9:30-11:00 a.m. - Session 2: Shepherding Your Leaders.
11:00-11:30a.m. - Session 2: Q&A.
12:00 - 1:30p.m. - Break for Lunch
1:30-3:00 p.m. - Session 3: Team Development Strategies.
3:00-3:30p.m. - Session 3: Q&A.
3:30-4:00p.m. - Breakout Prayer Groups
4:00 p.m. - Take off

Where? All sessions will be hosted at Mission City Church located in downtown Rutland in the Diamond Mall. We’ve also reserved a block of rooms reserved at the Holiday Inn across the street.

How? Cost is $35/attendess (plus online ticket fee) which includes retreat materials. Register here on this eventbrite page. This does not include meals or accomodations. Accomodations can be booked at any of the local hotels throughout the Rutland area. The Holiday Inn in Rutland is offering a special rate for those apart of the event. You will need to contact them directly and ask for the Vermont Church Planting Retreat rate. We also reccommend the Hampton Inn, or Comfort Inn.

Retreat Speaker: Pastor Anthony Milas (Lead Pastor of Granite United Church)
Anthony Milas is a hard-core follower of JESUS CHRIST, who is crazy in love with his wife Christy of 27 years. They have 3 kids, 5 grandkids, and a dog named Harley! Anthony loves playing sports, riding his motorcycle, and having fun with his church family (Granite United). Since he began pastoring in New England Anthony has led a movement to TRANSITION dying churches, MULTIPLY healthy churches, and BIRTH new churches. He also started the New England United Network.There are 20+ churches who actively participate in mentorship, men’s/ladies conferences, and regional events.


Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

No minimunm age required. However, childcare is NOT provided.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Parking is no concern, there will be ample, free, parking at the Diamond Run Mall.
